Jakovlev, Sergej

In 2016, he culminated his doctoral studies in transport engineering, specialising in Intelligent Transport Systems. Following his academic achievements, he embarked on a career as a chief researcher at the Institute of Marine Research. In addition to his research duties, he plays a pivotal role as a mentor for research initiatives at the Technical University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic. His professional journey is marked by extensive collaboration with international counterparts, managing research projects, and contributing high-caliber research papers in Web of Science (WOS). Over the past five years, his prolific work includes the publication of over 20 scholarly articles and presentations at international symposiums. His research interests are deeply rooted in exploring Transportation Systems and leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Systems Engineering, and Data Analytics to innovate within the field.
