Instructions for Resetting KU Account Password

If you have forgotten your Klaipėda University (KU) account password and want to reset it, follow these steps:


Opening the Login Page

  1. Open a web browser and go to: https://mano.ku.lt/lt/users/login.

  2. In the login window, click the Forgot your password? button below the fields for entering your login credentials (see Figure 1).

Entering Your Email Address

  1. After the password reminder page opens, enter your KU email address (e.g., vardenis.pavardenis@ku.lt).

  2. Click the Reset Password button (see Figure 2).

Confirmation

  1. If you entered the correct email address, you will see a message: A password reset link has been sent to your personal email (see Figure 3).

  2. If the email address is entered incorrectly, you will see the message: User not found (see Figure 4).

Receiving the Email with the Reset Link

  1. If the email address was entered correctly, a password reset link will be sent to your email.

  2. In the email, click the link or button to access the password reset page (see Figure 5).

Setting a New Password

  1. On the password reset page, enter:

    • Your new desired password (in the "New Password" field).
    • Re-enter the same password (in the "Confirm New Password" field).
  2. Click the Change Password button (see Figure 6).

Password Requirements

  • At least 12 characters.

  • At least one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter.

  • At least one number.

  • The password must be unique (you cannot use your previous password).

Successful Password Change

  1. If the password is successfully changed, you will see the message: Password successfully changed.

  2. You will be automatically redirected to the login page (see Figure 7).
