The Research and Innovation Office is an administrative unit of Klaipeda University, subordinate to the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation. It coordinates the scientific activities of faculties and institutes, as well as their academic staff and researchers, doctoral studies, and the preparation and implementation of science, study, and innovation projects. The office oversees the stages of scientific research and experimental development—from knowledge creation in collaboration with business and industry companies to its direct transfer. Guided by the latest knowledge management principles, it aims to ensure the integrity and innovativeness of scientific activities and to foster collaboration between business and academic entities in the processes of innovation development.
