Volunteering

We invite undergraduate and postgraduate students from Klaipeda University to volunteer at the Caritas organization of the Church of Mary Queen of Peace in Klaipėda. This is an opportunity for new experiences and new possibilities. Volunteers need to be disciplined, responsible, willing to work in a team, eager to communicate, and ready to help others. By helping others, you will also help yourself learn communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and other skills.
A wide range of activities is available, including working with youth, the elderly, and individuals in poverty, as well as educational and recreational activities, among others. Volunteers will participate in social support actions organized in the city of Klaipėda. There will also be opportunities to participate in retreats, training sessions, community activities, reflections, and individual consultations.

Volunteer applications for CARITAS are typically announced each year at the end of August. Wait for update.

15 selected students who commit to volunteering for at least 24 hours per month (a total of 96 hours per semester) can be awarded scholarships from Klaipeda University. Academic practice and other tasks cannot be duplicated with volunteer activities.
