EU-CONEXUS Minors

We proudly tell our students, "When you enroll in one university, you become a part of nine universities." Minors offer is exactly what we want our Bachelor's students to know about! Minors provide a great opportunity to gain maximum international experience within the EU-CONEXUS alliance and acquire knowledge in a specific field. 

  • Students are not required to have their bachelor's degree in a specific field; they can apply to Minor freely.
  • Minor credits are free of charge.
  • Both online and live mobility options are available.
  • Over 30 different courses to choose from.
Each course is worth 6 ECTS. Students who complete 5 different courses will receive an international minors certificate, indicating successful management of 30 ECTS.

Minor in Coastal Development and Sustainable Maritime Tourism

Minor provides you competences and professional skills in five key sectors:

  1. Biodiversity and Coastal Zone Management
  2. Environmental Education
  3. Human Geography
  4. Sustainable Tourism
  5. Coastal Engineering

With a solid theoretical base and through practical activities, you will acquire skills and knowledge that will boost your employability and open professional opportunities in coastal regions in domains like: port and harbor administration, real estate development, governmental agencies, regional and local administration, private and public organizations in the field of environment, tourism and culture, NGOs. You will also acquire an international experience, develop your cultural awareness and intercultural competencies.

Minor in Blue Economy and Growth

Minor provides you competences and professional skills in five key sectors:

  1. Aquaculture and Fisheries
  2. Marine Biotechnology
  3. Ocean Energy
  4. Transport and Shipbuilding
  5. Coastal and Maritime Tourism

Seas and oceans are drivers for our economy and have great potential for innovation and growth. Blue economy promotes a sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth while preserving the health of ocean ecosystems.

Courses´ Catalogue

Applications are accepted twice a year, in September and January. Invitations to apply are typically announced on all KU media channels and shared via emails.
