Šiame darbe buvo analizuojamos Kuršių marių makrodumblių augimo sąlygos ir jų panaudojimo galimybės. Tyrimo metu makrodumblių analizei ir biomasės įvertinimui surinkta 120 mėginių nuo įvairių substratų: akmenų, molų, augalų, nuvirtusių medžių, po vandeniu panirusių kitų substratų. Įvertinta makrodumblių rūšinė įvairovė, augimo sąlygos. Darbe analizuojami biomasės pasiskirstymo ypatumai. Nustatytas makrodumblių užterštumas sunkiaisiais metalais, energetinės vertės potencialas, įvertintas makrodumblių panaudojimas tręšimui bei pateikiamos kitos makrodumblių panaudojimo galimybės.
There is not a lot of information about the Curonian lagoon macroalgae species composition, biomass and utilization. Most studies have been done assessing the ecological status of the lagoon, examining the pollution of water body. The aim of this work was determine the lagoon macroalgae growth conditions and their practical applications. Following analysis of the species diversity found out in the Curonian Lagoon accepted 21 macroalgae species from which all study sites abundantly widespread Cladophora glomerata and Enteromorpha prolifera. The analysis of macroalgae biomass distribution patterns showed that macroalgae grows abundantly in the autumn on the bottom and the metal structure at the 7.5 to 8 pH with wide range of mineralization until 11560 µS/cm. Macroalgae biomass studies have shown that in all the study sites a heavy metals concentrations didn't exceed maximum available concentration . Cladophora glomerata and Enteromorpha prolifera have the high total N and total P concentrations (Cladophora glomerata Nb - 38057 mg kg-1; Pb -3025 mg kg-1; Enteromorpha prolifera Nb - 43019 mg kg-1; Pb -1038 mg kg-1 ), so algae can be used as a fertilizer, seed germination promoter as the done experiment shown.The experiment proved that the garden cress seeds had the best germination with Cladophora glomerata and Enteromorpha prolifera 0.1 mg l-1 concentration of the culture medium. The caloric tests found out that Cladophora glomerata and Enteromorpha prolifera calorific value (13600 kJ kg-1) are higher then a paper (9816 kJ kg-1) and closed to a reed (18920 kJ kg-1) Studies have shown that algae can be used as compost in agriculture and speed up seeds germination. Performed calorimetric studies have shown that algae suitable for energy production. High N and P concentrations of algae suggest that algae are suitable for biogas production, and can enrich the basic substrate for biogas production. The study identified that algae could be grown on metal structures, which can be adapted to build the Klaipeda Strait area. At the same time this would reduce the N and P concentrations in eutrophic Curonian Lagoon.
