Dr. Rasa Ziliene is actively working as senior researcher and assoc. professor in the field of Green and blue economy at the Department of Economics of Klaipeda University, which is Lithuanian campus of European University EU-CONEXUS. She is interested in Sustainable industries development, Industrial symbiosis and clustering processes as well as Consumer behaviour in marketing, Innovations strategies and Resilience economies. She has been working in numerous scientific projects for new ideas development and making joint multidisciplinary research in Green and Blue economy field of expertise, dealing with sustainability, resilience, industrial and social businesses. She is experienced projects manager, actively involved into the study programmes implementation, providing such study modules as Innovations strategies, Strategic management methods, Communication in Marketing, Intellectual property and its protection, Mrketing innovations, Integrated marketing communication, Economics of maritime transport companies, etc. Since 2004 she actively works with national and international grants, develops international project proposals and participates in the implementation (eg.BRIDGE - she was leading international project, related to green growth and dedicated for building bridges for youth green growth future; CAPACITY building and UMBRELLA - for supporting local actors to develop their skills and be more involved into the international cooperation; INDIGISE – building knowledge for youth in a field of social entrepreneurship). She is graduated by having certificate of EFQM, has Internal audit certificate, works as expert in Horizon Europe for evaluating projects proposals. Currently she actively works with Youth and green campus concept, as well as intensively develops study visits to companies. She also has solid experience in management (2004-2014 Head of Projects management and development department; 2014-2015 - Deputy director of Marine science and technology centre; 2015-2017 - head of 2 EU international projects; 2017-2019 vice-dean for Marine technologies and natural sciences faculty. She is giving also private non formal education courses on Innovations management, Strategic management, Social entrepreneurship, Communication, Projects management, Intellectual property licencing, Management of culture products, etc. She also takes active role in European University EU-CONEXUS alliance (was head of H2020 project EU-CONEXUS Research For Society 2021-2022, represents social sciences in this international alliance, works with youth in formal and non-formal education areas).
